Thumbs up from a local Ponte Vedran! We'll try it again! We are a table of six for Labor Day dinner. Made a reservation for 630, we arrived on time. Seated right away it is a lovely dining area. Our server, Ming, was so helpful to us as first-timers! We ordered 6 different dishes and 3 apps and shared it family-style. I think we are picky (yes, we are Asian) but we're very impressed with the fusion menu. In fact, 4 of my nephews work at other Asian restaurants in the area. You've gotta try this place because we will be back soon!

I'm glad they finally got their feet under them compared to the last time I was here. This restaurant is owned by the same group that owns Kamiya 86 in Jax Beach ( yelp.com/biz/kamiya-86-j… ) and you can definitely see the similarities. With my husband's renewed excitement for being able to find good sushi in Jax, we were ready to indulge again. We had found the easiest way for us to both get what we like (me the rolls, him the sashimi) is to order one of the 'boats'. This time it was the Love Boat for Two. The lava roll and the yummy roll were just that - yummy! My stomach was arguing with my eyes for ordering so much. Our waitress was on point and always showed up at the right moment to refill our glasses or clear our plates. Pacific Fusion is smaller than Kamiya, but it definitely has the same flare. It did worry me when I noticed a couple of the reviews, but it didn't keep me away. Thankfully, no sick feelings in this party.

Best sushi in Jacksonville! Creative, fresh and delicious. We tried the Royal crab roll, yummy, rock and roll, mango tango and spider rolls. Annie had too many tables to count yet still provided excellent service!

I visit this restaurant often and while the service is horrible even when they are seemingly not very busy, the sushi is delicious. The ingredients are as fresh as they could possibly be. Bright, vibrant green avocado that is perfectly ripe, sweet, juicy mango, and tender fish. You get what you pay for here. Also, the lemongrass steak is amazing! Definitely worth a try if you're a sushi buff.

After hearing only rave reviews from my friends who frequent this place, I was able to enjoy my own experience during a friends bday party. Although the service was a little under my expectations, the food definitely made up for that. The ambiance is quiet and sophisticated, nothing less of what you would expect to find in PV. The layout of the restaurant makes for privacy, even when large parties are around. A sushi bar is also available for seating. The pricing is reasonable, and well worth it. Decent selections of wines, but if youre trying to save a buck, they also have cheap house wines to offer. The thai-spring rolls were lightly fried and served with a delicious lemongrass chili sauce. The tom-ka is an excellent coconut and lime-based soup, that had a great flavor and was light to consume. The only issue I had was that I had asked for it with tofu, which came out fried. I was hoping the tofu would simply have been cooked in the soup, rather than fried, which made it a little tough and the texture didn't pair quite the way I would have liked. I also had the sweet potato sushi. It is also fried, but these little nuggets were delicious! Definitely recommend trying them, even if youre not vegetarian!

The food is great but the sushi chefs are consistently slow. Tonight, it took over 40 minutes to get my order out, and the restaurant was barely half full. Our server literally disappeared in embarrassment after a while. Management took note and apologized, but did not comp anything on the bill. Didn't even so much as offer a free dessert. Probably the last time we'll eat there.

I went here on date night. This was my first time dining here so my guy ordered for me. I enjoyed the sushi and the seaweed salad. The service is a bit unorganized. Our server messed up our order a couple of times but i just assumed she was new on staff. Loved the decor and the diversity of the patrons. Some were in slacks and dresses, and some folks ( like myself) dined in denim and flats.. or flip flops. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. I would definitely go back.

Had lunch on a Saturday at noon. The decor is modern and trendy. Ordered the Yummy and Super California rolls and General Tso chicken with fried rice. The rolls were excellent and would highly recommend. The chicken was ok - the sauce was too gooey for my liking. Service was good, but then again we were the only customers at the time.

It's disappointing to see that the previous reviewer ate here over a month ago and it doesn't seem like much has gotten better. I haven't eaten much Thai in Jacksonville given how ridiculously overpriced the local places are (I'm looking at you, Thai Room). So the slightly more moderate prices were encouraging. However, the food tasted average and the service was disorganized, much as the previous reviewer noted. Also, I had a 1/2 off entree coupon that got rejected because I ordered Drunken Noodles which, according to our waiter, are "just fried noodles." Yeah, amazing they even charge for it! Never mind I also ordered a soup. The combined prices would have been well within the price range of the other entrees. Lest I sound cheap, don't get me wrong - it wasn't really that pricey. I just thought it was poor form. I suppose if it was in my neighborhood I might keep a takeout menu around but it's not worth more than a 2-3 minute drive.

Awesome Sushi - Thai not so good . Try the tuna dumplings. I'll be back soon.

I'm thrown off by these reviews. The thai isn't very spicy here and I do admit that is a shortcoming. But it a Fusion restaurant, not a Thai place. The sweet szechuan chicken and shrimp dishes are excellent and more importantly, the sushi is the freshest and most well prepared in the Jax area. The fish is always thinly sliced (not skimpy), chilled, clean, and adroitly presented. If you don't eat fish (I'm not talking spicy tuna, but those who are scanning the menu for something new and rolling toro around on their tongues like a lifesaver) and are looking only for pad thai, there are prob better spots, but for the sushi, this place is worth a drive.

Wonderful evening..delicious food. The seafood is exceptionally fresh and tasty. The service was excellent...quiet and peaceful dining. None of the "Hi my name is John and I'll be your server" stuff. Will return often. GL

This place had some of the best sushi we've had anywhere. The Yummy Roll was fantastic! Also had a Rainbow Roll, spicy tuna, Philadelphia roll and spider maki. Quality and quantity were excellent, and prices very reasonable. Liked the decor - sleek and minimalist.

to call their food thai seems incorrect. & I definitely wasn't impressed... I ordered the garlic chicken for my husband & the tuna avocado salad for me. our entrees were nothing to brag about. the garlic chicken tasted similar to cheap chinese & the tuna avocado salad was tiny and the tuna was extra fishy. :/ we ordered some appetizers as well -- fresh spring rolls & some type of fried scallop with crab meat on top. the appetizers were surprisingly good. I think the cost of the food is a bit high when you consider the quality of the food. if I'm going to spend my money on thai, I'll stick with lemongrass. I'd come back for appetizers because it's so close by, but I wouldn't go outta my way. the interior is rather gorgeous though. I guess they spent their money on aesthetics as opposed to amazing chefs. :( I was really hoping it'd be amazing. needless to say, I was pretty bummed.

When we drove up to this place in a strip mall off A1A I was a bit worried- a temporary sign over the door and an empty dining room at 6:30 on a Friday night had me concerned. BUT this went away quickly as were greeted and seated right away and our drink orders were taken as we sat down. And then watched as every table filled up in the next 30 minutes with what appeared to be regulars- each greeted at the door by the hostess and the waitress. When a group of 6 came in it was like a family reunion. Even the manager or owner came out from the back to say hello. This is a nice clean place with a pretty decor and a great view to the sushi bar where everything is made. The 3 of us love sushi so we were excited by the great variety of rolls. Our waitress brought our drinks quickly and took our order. I asked how many pieces were in the vegetable tempura, as my daughter wanted to order that and she said about 7 pieces- sounded perfect for sharing. When it came out there were 12 pieces! It included broccoli, onion, green pepper, asparagus, carrot and zucchini - each perfectly coated with hot crisp crust. Really good. We ordered the lava roll, yummy roll, mango tango and a california roll. They were presented beautifully on a big platter and there were 8 big pieces to each roll. Every one was delicious. We could not even finish the entire platter. Really enjoyed our meal and finished it off by sharing a Tempura Ice cream. As we left there was a steady stream of people coming in and a long line of bags waiting for pick-up. Clearly a good spot for the locals and visitors alike.

They may be rebranding, but they'll always be Pacific Fusion to me. Friendly and prompt service and easily the best sushi around at very reasonable prices. The Thai options are also solid, though not what I usually get from there. Order one of the boats if you're there with another sushi lover and feeling ambitious.

I loved the food. But we will never go back to this place. We had a $$$ check, so my husband added 23% tip on the card and we were ready to leave, when the manager and the waiter stopped us in the middle of the restaurant asking "why we didn't leave any tips?!" CRAZY! Never going back to that place after they made us feel awful in the middle of a crowded restaurant in front of all the people.

High quality Asian food for realistic in a clean and friendly atmosphere. We were impressed with the attention to detail. I can't recall the last time I had sparkling crystal clear wine glasses. Like the food and atmosphere is fine, but our service (6) of us was terrible! They charged for dishes no one ordered and so one friend asked for the manager. She then argued with our friend that he was mistaken. My husband's dinner arrived 8 minutes before mine. Then we were told they ran out of shrimp! I had to order something else- with no apologies or comps! If we want Thai we get takeout from TupTim .

I was totally impressed with my Sizzling Mongolian Beef. The flavor was wonderful and, it was tender enough to cut with a butter knife - but don't order soup. I ordered the tum yum soup with shrimp, and, to me, it tasted like dishwater with two gummy bear shrimp floating around.

I don't think I have ever left a restaurant review, but I wanted to save others from this place. The food is admittedly pretty good. However, the service and management are atrocious. Here's the gist. Arrived at 6:20 with husband and two kids. We were one of about 6 occupied tables in the restaurant at that hour. Started off OK that waitress came to the table after we had only waited for about 5 minutes. We ordered simple drinks...sprite, tea and sake and an appetizer of spring rolls. Twenty minutes later, the same waitress walks up to our table, welcomes us to the restaurant, apologizes for the wait and asks us if we would like to order drinks. We told her we had already ordered drinks and appetizers about 20 minutes earlier. She looked flustered and said she would go get them. When she returned, we told her we would like to go ahead and give her our food order. My daughter ordered a sushi roll, husband ordered 2 sushi rolls, other daughter ordered shrimp and I ordered chicken. Time elapses and elapses. Other tables that came later are getting their meals. We are wondering what is going on. She comes by, and we ask her about her food. She says it is on its way out. She brings out one plate with my daughter's sushi roll and husband's sushi roll and puts it in the middle of the table. We thought it was odd, but they just dished their meals off onto side plates. 15 minutes later, there is still no sign of my other daughter's shrimp or my meal. We see her at a nearby table and flag her down. We ask when the rest of our meals are coming. She said she thought we ordered those rolls as appetizers. We told her we already had appetizers, and that these were two of our dinners and the other two have yet to come. She looks totally deer in headlights. We tell her we are anxious to get food for our 10-year-old who is now very hungry given that it is now 7:45. Another waitress/hostess/manager walks over. She asks if everything is OK. We explain the situation to her. She says she is sorry. Mind you, she does not seemingly do anything about it but says she is sorry. The original waitress comes back and says our meals will be there in 10 minutes. Our food finally comes. Then, as we are finishing, a manager walks over. He tells us that he is sorry, and that the situation is his fault because it was the girl's second day and that he had not adequately trained her yet and that she is overwhelmed. He repeats that he is sorry and tells us that he will ensure we have a better waitress or that he will personally wait on us the NEXT time we come...which is at this point utterly ridiculous. and hollow and totally insufficient. We were to a point that it was late, our evening was ruined and our dinner was totally unsatisfying. At that point, I want more than a weenie apology...I want a free appetizer next time we come (not that we will go back) or a free dessert or 20% off my check. However, we got a hollow and seemingly insincere apology. Then, we sat and waited even longer for our check after we told him we just needed a check so we could leave. He comes back by the table and realizes my exhausted 10-year-old has not eaten the shrimp (since my husband and daughter had fed her out of their meals after a point.) He offers to box it up. He says he looks forward to seeing us again. I have HAD it as this point, so I told him that there would not be a next time for us. I told him his hollow apology was not seemingly genuine or an adequate service recovery. Now that it was 8:40, I told him that all we wanted was our check so we could get the heck out of there never to return. He brings the check back. He brings the shrimp back and practically threw it on the table. All in all, it was a TERRIBLE experience. The sad thing for them is that we are actually locals rather than vacationers, are new to town, love sushi and eat out a lot...with a little service recovery, we could have been great customers. So, if you are willing to have good food and horrible service, this is your place. Otherwise, go actually enjoy your evening elsewhere. There are a lot of great options for eating in PVB that mean this place is utterly skippable. As I write all this, I forgot to even add that a bug walked across the booth, and my daughter swatted it away with a pillow that was on the back of the bench...it's sad when a nasty bug is the least disturbing thing that happened at dinner. :)

I visit this restaurant often and while the service is horrible even when they are seemingly not very busy, the sushi is delicious. The ingredients are as fresh as they could possibly be.
